Saskatchewan Duck Hunting – Spring is in the air and so are breeding waterfowl

It is officially mating season on the Prairie. Our latest visit to Saskatchewan, Canada last week confirmed a large number of waterfowl has paired up and all the snow is melted. They are in full nesting / breeding mode. 

The melted snow has created lots of run off potholes ideal for nesting habitats. We will continue to watch and pray for continuous rain throughout the Summer to maintain the wetlands and nourished ground.

Saskatchewan waterfowl hunting starts in the breeding season and as we prepare for the Fall season, the numbers of breeding pairs we saw have our hopes high in a good hatch.
